UTC Warrington encourages students to be active and, where possible, walk to college. Research shows that walking 10,000 steps a day will significantly improve your health. By walking to college, we are encouraging students to feel relaxed and start the day in a good mood.
Where possible, walking to college reduces road congestion, benefits the environment and saves money on fuel and transport costs. Visit Travel Warrington for more information and advice on walking around the town.

UTC Warrington encourages students to cycle to college, where safe and possible. Plans for the redevelopment of outdoor space at UTC Warrington will provide a permanent home for those choosing to cycle to college. Bicycles locked up at college are left at owners risk.
Research shows that cycling will help the environment and is good for the health, fitness and motivation of our students.

UTC Warrington is centrally located within the town centre and can be accessed via Froghall Lane/Tanners Lane leading to Dallam Lane. Follow signs for Warrington Wolves Stadium to reach the Stadium Quarter where we are based.
The college is easily accessed from junction 8 of the M62. Follow the signs for Warrington Town Centre via Cromwell Avenue and A57 Sankey Way.
Alternative routes include junction 9 of the M62 via A49 Winwick Road and junction 21 of the M6 via Manchester Road.
Whilst we welcome the easiest mode of transport for students to reach us, there is no drop off point outside UTC Warrington. To avoid Dallam Lane becoming congested at peak times, we would encourage students to be dropped off near Warrington Central Station and take a short walk across to college. This will provide a safer zone for drivers and easy access for onward journeys.
